I will admit that I tend to ignore satellite events at conferences, particularly sponsored ones. But at this year’s ESOF meeting in Turin, my eagle-eyed husband spotted an intriguing one by Swedish agency Vinnova that featured a Ph.D. student presenting her research on the long-term health effects of prolonged sitting.
